Summary

Establishing that the requirement for the payment of public taxes, assessments, and charges before property may be transferred on the assessment books or records does not apply to the payment of recordation taxes; clarifying that a purchaser of foreclosed residential property is not required to pay the recordation tax for an indemnity mortgage securing the property unless the purchaser is the grantor of the indemnity mortgage; etc.
