Synopsis: Offenses against business. Provides that a person who, with
the intent to damage or interfere with an employer's business or to
persuade or attempt to persuade an employee to leave employment with
an employer: (1) seeks or obtains employment; (2) conspires with
another person to seek or obtain employment; or (3) directs another
person to seek or obtain employment; with the employer commits a
Class A misdemeanor.
Effective: July 1, 2011.

Chapter 9. Offenses Against Business
Sec. 1. A person who, with the intent to damage or interfere with an employer's business:
(1) seeks or obtains employment with the employer;
(2) conspires with another person to seek or obtain employment with the employer; or
(3) directs another person to seek or obtain employment with the employer;
commits a Class A misdemeanor.
Sec. 2. A person who, with the intent to persuade or to attempt to persuade an employee to leave employment with an employer:
(1) seeks or obtains employment with the employer;
(2) conspires with another person to seek or obtain employment with the employer; or
(3) directs another person to seek or obtain employment with the employer;
commits a Class A misdemeanor.
