Summary

Employment leave for volunteer firefighters. Provides that a state agency, political subdivision, or private employer may provide not more than five days of paid leave to an employee who is a volunteer firefighter and takes a leave of absence: (1) to respond to a fire or emergency call; or (2) for an injury that occurs while the employee is engaged in emergency firefighting or other emergency response activity.
