Summary

Property tax collection. Requires a vehicle registration applicant to furnish proof, as a condition of registering a vehicle, that the vehicle registration applicant (applicant) has paid all relevant property taxes, special assessments, interest, and penalties for which the applicant is liable. Provides that county auditors shall issue certifications to eligible registrants of motor vehicles in their respective counties that: (1) the registrant's liability for all relevant property taxes, special assessments, penalties, and interest is paid in full; or (2) the registrant is not liable for any property taxes, special assessments, penalties, and interest.
