2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Debbra J. Spitzbart of Woodstock, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on April 5, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was born on July 3, 1953 in | ||||||
6 | Woodstock; her parents were Martin and Lucille Knuth; she | ||||||
7 | married David Spitzbart on September 15, 1973 in Crystal Lake; | ||||||
8 | and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was a member of St. John's | ||||||
10 | Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart worked for many years as a | ||||||
12 | teacher's aide, book seller, and house manager at the Woodstock | ||||||
13 | Opera House; she loved the theatre and worked in many | ||||||
14 | capacities behind the scenes and as a producer; she also served | ||||||
15 | as a board member for the Woodstock Musical Theatre Company and | ||||||
16 | was very active with the Town Square Players; and

17 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was an avid reader and home | ||||||
18 | decorator; she also enjoyed spending time with her loving | ||||||
19 | family; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was preceded in death by her |

1 | parents; her father-in-law, Gus Spitzbart; her sister-in-law, | ||||||
2 | Norma Spitzbart; and her nephew, Jeremy Spitzbart; and
| ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart is survived by her loving husband | ||||||
4 | of 42 years, David Spitzbart; her children, Brad Spitzbart and | ||||||
5 | Ellen (Zach Conrad) Spitzbart; a grandson on the way; her twin | ||||||
6 | sister, Barb (Arnold) Diedrich; her mother-in-law, Edna | ||||||
7 | Spitzbart; her sister-in-law, Barb (Craig) Zivic; and her many | ||||||
8 | nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
11 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Debbra J. Spitzbart; | ||||||
12 | and be it further

13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
14 | presented to the family of Debbra Spitzbart as an expression of | ||||||
15 | our sympathy.
