2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Charles Dismer Jr. of Rock Island, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 14, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Charles Dismer Jr. was born in Davenport, Iowa on | ||||||
6 | July 9, 1925; he served in the U.S. Army during WWII; he | ||||||
7 | married Helen A. Albrecht on July 19, 1947; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Charles Dismer Jr. worked as a printer and later | ||||||
9 | as an office manager at Modern Woodmen of America; he also | ||||||
10 | worked part-time at Sears, Roebuck, and Co. and Borden's Dairy; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Charles Dismer Jr. was active in his church; he | ||||||
13 | enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, fishing, and | ||||||
14 | bowling; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Charles Dismer Jr. is survived by his wife, Helen | ||||||
16 | Dismer; his children, Ruth Anne (Don) Feller, Gretchen (Bob) | ||||||
17 | Fett, and Paul (Janine) Dismer; his grandchildren, Nathan | ||||||
18 | Feller, Karl Feller, Christian Fett, Daniel "DJ" (Lisa) Fett, | ||||||
19 | Amber Dismer, Matthew (Whitney) Dismer, and Elise Dismer; and | ||||||
20 | his great-grandchildren, Maverick Fett, Gage Fett, Hannah | ||||||
21 | Dismer, Maggie Dismer, and Catherine Dismer; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
