2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Louise Magadalena Dahlman of Marengo, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on February 2, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Louise Dahlman was born in Hampshire on March 24, | ||||||
6 | 1932 to John and Margaret (nee Duthorn) Reh; she married Howard | ||||||
7 | Dahlman in Marengo in May of 1966; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Louise Dahlman worked at the Elgin Watch Factory | ||||||
9 | for many years; she was also well known in the Marengo area for | ||||||
10 | her cake decorating and baking business; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Louise Dahlman enjoyed cooking, gardening, and | ||||||
12 | dancing; she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo; | ||||||
13 | and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Louise Dahlman was preceded in death by her | ||||||
15 | husband, Howard; her parents; her siblings, Andrew Reh, Conrad | ||||||
16 | Reh, and Margaret Maynard; and her nephew, Christopher Reh; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Louise Dahlman is survived by her brother, Peter | ||||||
18 | (Margaret) Reh; her nieces and nephew, Donita Maynard, Peggy | ||||||
19 | Lee, Melissa Reh, and Steve Reh; and many extended family | ||||||
20 | members; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Louise Magadalena Dahlman, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
4 | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be | ||||||
5 | it further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Louise Dahlman as an expression of | ||||||
8 | our deepest sympathy.
