2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Carolyn Ann Clark, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | March 5, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Clark was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on | ||||||
6 | August 17, 1936 to Ernestine Lawson; she was raised by John and | ||||||
7 | Essie Gardner and educated at Brown Elementary School, Manley | ||||||
8 | High School, and Crane Jr. College; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Clark married Henry Clark in 1956 and they | ||||||
10 | had 10 children, Derrick, Glenn (Margaret), Brian, Marvin | ||||||
11 | (Nadine), Craig (Shirley), Vince (Cheryl), Shawn (Melissa), | ||||||
12 | Christina, Angela, and Dorenda; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Clark was a member of Providence | ||||||
14 | Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member of the | ||||||
15 | Willing Workers Ministry; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Clark was preceded in death by her | ||||||
17 | husband, Henry and her son, Glenn; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Clark is survived by 9 children; her 15 | ||||||
19 | grandchildren, Romario, Jasmine, Jarvis, Jeremy, Joslyn, | ||||||
20 | Britnei, Morgan, Heather, Ashley, Chazz, Kyle, Jaxon, |

1 | Jermaine, Aiden, and Bella; her 4 great-grandchildren; 8 | ||||||
2 | siblings; and countless family members and friends; therefore, | ||||||

4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
6 | Carolyn Ann Clark, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
7 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
8 | further

9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
