2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Paul Kelley, who passed away on February | ||||||
4 | 2, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Paul Kelley was born to Harry and Pearl Kelley; he | ||||||
6 | served in the Merchant Marines and the United States Army | ||||||
7 | during World War II; he married Mary Smith; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Paul Kelley retired from the Wood River Water | ||||||
9 | Department; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Paul Kelley was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
11 | his daughter, Laura Lannom; his sons-in-law, Terry Herrin and | ||||||
12 | Carroll Gates; his sister, Eileen Reader; and his brothers, | ||||||
13 | Glen and Robert Kelley; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Paul Kelley is survived by his wife of almost 70 | ||||||
15 | years, Mary; his son, Glen (Mary) Kelley; his daughters, | ||||||
16 | Marilyn (Tom) Jaco, Patricia Gates, and Karen Herrin; 12 | ||||||
17 | grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| ||||||
18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Paul Kelley and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |

2 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
