| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Vincent Bozzer of Colona, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on February 9, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was born to George and Mary | ||||||
6 | Catherine (Hentschel) Bozzer in Detroit on March 15, 1926; he | ||||||
7 | earned his master's degree from the Florida Institute of | ||||||
8 | Technology and was a proud graduate of University of Michigan; | ||||||
9 | he was a World War II and Korean War veteran who served with | ||||||
10 | the Army Air Force; he married Marianne Vilt in Coal City on | ||||||
11 | January 23, 1954; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer worked at the Rock Island Arsenal | ||||||
13 | for 44 years, retiring on January 2, 1988; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was an avid bowler, bird watcher, | ||||||
15 | and arborist; he enjoyed woodworking, being in nature, and | ||||||
16 | being a boy scout leader with his children when they were | ||||||
17 | younger; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | parents; his wife; his four sisters; and his two brothers; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer is survived by his children, Erich |

1 | (Suzie) Bozzer, Lad (Brenda) Bozzer, and Therese (Bill) | ||||||
2 | Mueller, and his grandchildren, Emily, Brian, Alex, Henry, | ||||||
3 | Madeline, Sam, and Elizabeth; therefore, be it

4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
6 | Vincent Bozzer and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
7 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
8 | further

9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
