SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of William J. Cullerton; and
WHEREAS, William Cullerton served his country with pride
and distinction as an Ace Fighter Pilot in the United States
Army Air Forces during World War II; and
WHEREAS, William Cullerton was the beloved husband of
Elaine "Steve" Cullerton; the loving father of Pamela (George)
Brinkman, Cynthia (Brian) Giesche, Bill (Linda) Cullerton,
Marc (Leslie) Cullerton, and Christine (John) Picchietti; the
cherished grandfather of 19; the great-grandfather of 8; and
the dear brother of the late Jean (the late Herb) Madden;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of William J. Cullerton;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of William Cullerton as an expression
of our sympathy.
