2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Robert T. "Bob" Grogan of Darien and | ||||||
4 | Phelps, Wisconsin, formerly of Hinsdale, who passed away on | ||||||
5 | December 30, 2010; and

6 | WHEREAS, He attended Hinsdale schools and graduated with | ||||||
7 | the Class of 1957, Northwestern Military Academy in Lake | ||||||
8 | Geneva, Wisconsin; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, He was past President and a member of the Big Sand | ||||||
10 | Lake Club and a former member of the Edgewood Valley Country | ||||||
11 | Club and Eastward Ho! Country Club; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, He was the owner and operator of a service station | ||||||
13 | for two decades; he was an avid golfer, fisherman, and | ||||||
14 | entrepreneur; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Robert Grogan was the beloved husband of Anne, nee | ||||||
16 | Reynolds; the loving father of Robert Jr. (Elizabeth) and Dawn | ||||||
17 | (John III) Kenny; the adoring grandfather of Colby, Anastasia, | ||||||
18 | Maeve, Robert III, Evelyn, and John IV; the dear brother of the | ||||||
19 | late Elizabeth (Spencer) VanAlsburg and William (Dorothy) | ||||||
20 | Grogan; and the cherished son of the late Willard and | ||||||
21 | Marguerite Grogan; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
3 | his family and friends, the passing of Robert Grogan; and be it | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
