520 ILCS 5/1.2aa new

Amends the Wildlife Code. Defines "bow and arrow" to mean a weapon consisting of arrows and the bow to shoot the arrow or a weapon consisting of an arrow and a sling shot to shoot the arrow, but does not include a crossbow. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning wildlife.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section
51.2aa as follows:
6 (520 ILCS 5/1.2aa new)
7 Sec. 1.2aa. Bow and arrow. "Bow and arrow" means a weapon
8consisting of arrows and the bow to shoot the arrow or a weapon
9consisting of an arrow and a sling shot to shoot the arrow, but
10does not include a crossbow.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
