| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate John A. Logan College | ||||||
| 4 | men's basketball coach Kyle Smithpeters on being selected as | ||||||
| 5 | the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association "Coach of the Year" | ||||||
| 6 | for the 2014-15 season; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Coach Smithpeters led his team, the Volunteers, to | ||||||
| 8 | a 2014-15 season record of 27 wins and 7 losses; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, The Volunteers won the Great Rivers Athletic | ||||||
| 10 | Conference and the Region 24 and District 16 championships; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, The Volunteers made their second trip to the | ||||||
| 12 | National Junior College Athletic Association national | ||||||
| 13 | tournament - the first since 1995; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Coach Smithpeters has complied a career record of | ||||||
| 15 | 65 wins and 30 losses in his time helming the Volunteers; | ||||||

| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
