| 1 | HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, During the 99th General Assembly, House Joint | ||||||
| 3 | Resolution 1 created the Emergency Responder Roadway Safety | ||||||
| 4 | Task Force to identify and recommend ways that the State of | ||||||
| 5 | Illinois can increase the safety of emergency responders while | ||||||
| 6 | they perform their duties; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, The Emergency Responder Roadway Safety Task Force | ||||||
| 8 | was to report its findings and
recommendations to the General | ||||||
| 9 | Assembly on or before January 1, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, The Emergency Responder Roadway Safety Task Force | ||||||
| 11 | needs additional time to complete its work; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 13 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE | ||||||
| 14 | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Emergency Responder Roadway | ||||||
| 15 | Safety Task Force shall submit a report, as required in House | ||||||
| 16 | Joint Resolution 1 of the 99th General Assembly, no later than | ||||||
| 17 | January 1, 2017; and be it further
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the | ||||||
| 19 | Emergency Responder Roadway Safety Task Force shall
continue to | ||||||
| 20 | operate pursuant to House Joint Resolution 1 of the 99th | ||||||
| 21 | General Assembly.
