Bill Title: Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act. Provides that a community mental health or developmental services agency shall collect and securely store identifying and contact information for each individual resident. Provides that this information may include, but not be limited to, a current photograph, personal contact information, guardian or emergency contact information, and a log of all off-site overnight visits. Provides that this information shall be updated periodically. Effective immediately.

210 ILCS 135/9.2 new

Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act. Provides that a community mental health or developmental services agency shall collect and securely store identifying and contact information for each individual resident. Provides that this information may include, but not be limited to, a current photograph, personal contact information, guardian or emergency contact information, and a log of all off-site overnight visits. Provides that this information shall be updated periodically. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Community-Integrated Living Arrangements
5Licensure and Certification Act is amended by adding Section
69.2 as follows:
7 (210 ILCS 135/9.2 new)
8 Sec. 9.2. Emergency contacts. An agency shall collect and
9securely store identifying and contact information for each
10individual resident. This information may include, but not be
11limited to, a current photograph, personal contact
12information, guardian or emergency contact information, and a
13log of all off-site overnight visits. This information shall be
14updated periodically.
15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
16becoming law.
