| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 464

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 464 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The State Property Control Act is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | adding Section 7d as follows:
| ||||||
| 6 | (30 ILCS 605/7d new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 7d. Donated property. Notwithstanding any other | ||||||
| 8 | provision of this Act, the Department of Veterans' Affairs may | ||||||
| 9 | transfer any property under $100 in value that was donated to | ||||||
| 10 | the Department for the explicit benefit of the residents of | ||||||
| 11 | facilities operated by the Department under the Nursing Home | ||||||
| 12 | Care Act to any civic organization.
| ||||||
| 13 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 14 | becoming law.".
