Bill Title: Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning the Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze Homestead Exemption, provides that the total property tax liability of any property receiving an exemption under this Section may not exceed the total property tax liability for that property in the immediately preceding taxable year, increased by the lesser of (i) 3% or (ii) one-half of the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, as issued by the United States Department of Labor, during the immediately preceding taxable year. Effective immediately.
