Summary

Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Committed to a Cure Fund. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for the issuance of The H Foundation - Committed to a Cure for Cancer plates. Sets the cost of issuance at $40, $25 of which will go to the Committed to a Cure Fund and $15 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund, and $27 for renewal, $25 of which will go to the Committed to a Cure Fund and $2 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that money in the Committed to a Cure Fund shall be distributed, subject to appropriation by the General Assembly, to the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University for scientific research related to cancer.
