A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO HUNTING.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  The purpose of this Act is to make an appropriation to implement a hunter education program and develop shooting ranges.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the implementation of a statewide hunter education program and shooting range development, including lease rent and common area maintenance for program offices, utility costs, training materials and manuals, ground and air transportation costs, and other related program expenses.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
