A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the THIRTY-FIFTh representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016:
1. Waipahu High School, Oahu
Design, construction, and equipment for a classroom building with a parking lot at the ground floor; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.

Parking lot and access road at the south side of campus.

3. Waipahu High School, Oahu
Design and construction for a school wide electrical upgrade.

Tennis court resurface and underlayment project.

5. Waipahu High School, Oahu
Walk-in refrigerator for the career and technical education (CTE) culinary academy classroom/kitchen.

6. Waipahu Intermediate School, Oahu
New classroom DREAMS building to house digital media, robotics, engineering/electronics, animation, music & science; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.

7. Waipahu Intermediate School, Oahu
Multi-purpose regulation size play courts and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of education for the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
