A BILL FOR AN ACT


 

 

relating to emergency medical services.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the emergency medical services special fund the sum of $1,310,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2009-2010 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2010-2011 for emergency medical services in the Laupahoehoe district, county of Hawaii, as follows:

     1.   7.0 FTE positions                        $  1,000,000

     2.   Ambulance                                $    250,000

     3.   Equipment                                $     60,000

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the county of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2009.
