A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE HAWAII CANCER RESEARCH SPECIAL FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 304A-2168, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (d) to read as follows:
"(d) Beginning on January 1, 2010, the University
of Hawaii shall report [semi-annually] to the legislature, no later
than twenty days prior to the convening of each regular session, on the
moneys in the Hawaii cancer research special fund, including deposits,
expenditures, and other transactions.
The [reports] report shall explain in detail all
expenditures from the special fund[.] for the last fiscal year."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2060.
