RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Luther Richardson for outstanding contributions to public
education in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Luther Richardson is a highly respected educator in the Muscogee County
School System; and
WHEREAS,
the contributions and achievements of Mr. Richardson have been recognized by his
selection as Teacher of the Year for Columbus High School; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people and Mr. Richardson exemplifies the selfless dedication which is
characteristic of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
it is appropriate that this body join in expressing appreciation to Mr.
Richardson for his efforts and accomplishments.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body hereby recognizes and
commends Mr. Luther Richardson; extends its congratulations upon his selection
as Teacher of the Year; and expresses its gratitude for the great credit this
outstanding educator reflects upon his school and school system and the State of
Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Luther Richardson.
