Amend
the Senate Health and Human Services Committee substitute to HB 861 (LC 21
1825S) by replacing lines 29 through 34 with the
following:
(a)
As used in this Code section, the term:
(1)
'Applicant' or 'individual' means a parent of a dependent child applying or
reapplying for TANF benefits.
(2)
'Established drug test' means the collection and testing of bodily fluids
administered in a manner equivalent to that required by the Mandatory Guidelines
for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs (53 C.F.R. 11979, et seq., as
amended) or other professionally valid procedures approved by the department;
provided, however, that where possible and practicable, a swab test shall be
used in lieu of a urinalysis.
