A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To repeal an Act entitled "An Act to abolish the office of Treasurer of Dodge County", approved August 16, 1920 (Ga. L. 1920), as amended; to provide that the county commission is authorized to appoint a chief financial officer and to designate his or her duties; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act entitled "An Act to abolish the office of Treasurer of Dodge County", approved August 16, 1920 (Ga. L. 1920), and all amendatory Acts thereto, are repealed.

SECTION 2.
The Board of Commissioners of Dodge County is authorized to appoint or employ a county chief financial officer and designate his or her duties.

SECTION 3.
This Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following the month in which it is approved by the Governor or becomes law without such approval.

SECTION 4.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
