BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 50-18-72 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to when public disclosure of public records is not required and disclosure of
exempting legal authority, so as to provide an exemption for certain public
records from disclosure; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 50-18-72 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to when
public disclosure of public records is not required and disclosure of exempting
legal authority, is amended by striking the word "or" at the end of paragraph
(22) of subsection (a), by striking the period at the end of paragraph (23) of
subsection (a) and inserting "; or", and by adding a new paragraph to subsection
(a) to read as follows:
"(24)
Records regarding any government sponsored program providing training on or
concerning governmental security
measures."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
