Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 8 of Title 40 of the O.C.G.A., relating to equipment and inspection of motor vehicles, so as to provide for the enforcement of laws regarding the operation of a motor vehicle with equipment which produces excessive noise levels using recorded images to be penalized by a civil monetary penalty; to amend Title 15 of the O.C.G.A., relating to courts, so as to authorize district attorneys, solicitors-general, and prosecuting attorneys to enforce civil monetary penalties relative to the enforcement of laws regarding the operation of a motor vehicle with equipment which produces excessive noise levels; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
