AN ACT CONCERNING A MUNICIPAL PILOT PROGRAM ALLOWING EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY-BASED PARAMEDICINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program in select municipalities allowing emergency medical services personnel to provide community-based paramedicine, as defined in section 20-206jj of the general statutes, in order to identify gaps and areas in need of improvement in local health care delivery.
Statement of Purpose:
To identify gaps and potential areas in need of improvement in local health care delivery.
