AN ACT EXEMPTING THE WHITE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION FROM CERTAIN DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) No nonprofit land conservation foundation that owns three thousand or more acres of land as of the effective date of this section shall be required to install any facility to store wastewater or to provide for the conveyance of such wastewater to a publicly-owned treatment works by means of a licensed subsurface sewage disposal system in order to remain authorized to discharge wastewater from a subsurface sewage disposal system in accordance with a general permit issued by the Commissioner of Environmental Protection pursuant to section 22a-430b of the general statutes.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
