AN ACT CONCERNING THE DISCLOSURE OF AN OPERATIVE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ANY DWELLING UNIT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 47a of the general statutes be amended to require landlords, when renting any dwelling unit, to provide notice to tenants as to the existence or nonexistence of an operative sprinkler system in the dwelling unit.

Statement of Purpose:

To require landlords to notify tenants as to the existence or nonexistence of an operative sprinkler system in the dwelling unit.
