AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO BIRTH CERTIFICATES BY ADOPTED PERSONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 93 of the general statutes be amended to allow adults who were adopted as children to access their original birth certificates.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide health protection to adopted persons by allowing them to access their birth certificates.
