AN ACT CONCERNING THE CORPORATION BUSINESS TAX RATE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 12-214 and 12-219 of the general statutes be amended to (1) reduce the tax on corporations from seven and one-half per cent to six per cent, and (2) repeal the surcharge imposed pursuant to said sections 12-214 and 12-219.

Statement of Purpose:

To stimulate the economy, help grow jobs and attract businesses to the state.
