AN ACT CREATING A CENTRALIZED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 4d of the general statutes be amended to replace the Division of Information Technology within the Department of Administrative Services with a centralized Information Technology Office to coordinate strategy and the implementation of state information technology services and investments.
Statement of Purpose:
To integrate strategy and planning across administrative departments concerning information technology to achieve efficiencies and better coordination.
