AN ACT CONCERNING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, regarding uniform standards for the licensing of persons required to be licensed pursuant to title 20 of the general statutes.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:

To require the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to adopt regulations regarding uniform occupational licensing standards.
