AN ACT CONCERNING PARKING PERMITS FOR CERTAIN VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-253a of the general statutes be amended to provide that a veteran suffering from a diagnosed mental impairment, including, but not limited to, post-traumatic stress disorder, may be issued a windshield placard allowing such veteran to utilize parking spaces reserved for persons with disabilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or other qualifying mental impairment to receive parking tags allowing such veteran to utilize parking spaces reserved for persons with disabilities.
