AN ACT REPEALING THE STATUTE ALLOWING MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATORS' LICENSES FOR DRIVING PURPOSES ONLY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 14-36m of the general statutes be repealed.

Statement of Purpose:

To repeal the statute allowing the Department of Motor Vehicles to provide drivers' licenses to persons who cannot provide proof of legal United States residency or a Social Security number.
