AN ACT REQUIRING CERTAIN CONTRACTORS AND PROFESSIONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL LICENSEES TO DISPLAY REGISTRATIONS AND LICENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 393, 393a, 393c, 399a, 400, 400a and 400c of the general statutes be amended to require registrants and licensees to display a copy of their registrations or licenses when soliciting and performing work for which they are registered or licensed.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers by requiring certain contractors and tradespersons to display copies of their registrations or licenses.
