AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-272 of the general statutes and section 17b-106 of the 2016 supplement to the general statutes be amended to increase the personal needs allowance from sixty to one hundred dollars for long-term care facility residents who receive state medical assistance.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide sufficient funds for long-term care facility residents to tend to their personal needs.
