AN ACT REDIRECTING CITIZEN'S ELECTION FUND MONEYS TO HIGHWAY AND BRIDGE REPAIR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the Citizen's Election Fund and redirect all funds to the Department of Transportation for the repair of state highways and bridges.

Statement of Purpose:

To maximize the use of taxpayer money by redirecting funds to meet the financial needs of repairing highways and bridges in the state.
