AN ACT CONCERNING A DEFINED CONTRIBUTION RETIREMENT PLAN FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to phase out the current defined benefit pension plan for state employees and replace it with a defined contribution retirement plan.
Statement of Purpose:
To move state employee pensions to defined contribution plans.
