LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 955, as introduced, Nielsen. Oroville Dam: citizens advisory commission.

Existing law requires the Department of Water Resources to supervise the maintenance and operation of dams and reservoirs as necessary to safeguard life and property.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would create a citizens advisory commission for Oroville Dam.
