Assembly Bill
No. 954

February 17, 2021

An act to amend Section 30960 of the Public Resources Code, relating to oceans.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 954, as introduced, Petrie-Norris. Ocean use planning.
Existing law requires the Secretary of the Natural Resources Agency to initiate a comprehensive, long-range planning process for the use of ocean waters offshore of California, and authorizes the secretary, among other things, to use a specified advisory panel as the planning committee.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
