requiring the department of health services to develop recommendations regarding specific health services in rural communities.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Department of health services; obstetric and gynecology services; rural communities; recommendations; report; delayed repeal

A. The department of health services shall convene stakeholders and staff to develop recommendations to ensure that obstetrics and gynecology services are provided in low-volume, high-risk rural communities in this state.  On or before December 31, 2024, the department shall report the recommendations to the governor, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives and shall provide a copy of the report to the secretary of state.

B. This section is repealed from and after June 30, 2025.
