An Act

 

amending title 28, chapter 3, article 15, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28-913; relating to offenses against public order.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 28, chapter 3, article 15, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-913, to read:

START_STATUTE28-913. Prohibited use of public rights-of-way; exception

A. A person may not erect or maintain in a public street, highway, alley, lane, parkway, sidewalk or other right-of-way, whether the right-of-way is dedicated to the public in fee or by easement, any full or partial enclosure for habitation, including a tent, tarp, box or similar object.

B. This section does not apply to a commercial motor vehicle. END_STATUTE
