SENATE BILL 1012

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

providing for game and fish department rule making exemption authority.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Arizona game and fish department; rule making exemption; publication

The Arizona game and fish department is exempt from the rule making requirements of title 41, chapter 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, for the purpose of adopting rules to amend or modify administrative rule R12-4-517 relating to watercraft motor and engine restrictions for one year after the effective date of this act, except that the department shall file a notice of exempt rulemaking with the secretary of state who shall publish the rules in the Arizona administrative register and the Arizona administrative code.  The rules shall have an immediate effective date.

Sec. 2.  Emergency

This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
