AN ACT

 

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE department of economic security FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE NAVAJO NATION FOR a head start building.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; head start classrooms; exemption

A.  The sum of $325,407 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2011‑2012 to the department of economic security for distribution to the Navajo nation for the design and construction of a classroom building for head start programs.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35‑190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
