AN ACT

 

amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-500.29; relating to cities and towns.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.29, to read:

START_STATUTE9-500.29.  Water softeners; salts

A city or town by ordinance may regulate the use, installation and disposal of water softening devices and systems that discharge sodium into the city's or town's water or wastewater system. END_STATUTE
