FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
The Shooter Floor Amendment narrows the required audit conducted by the Auditor General to solicitations and contracts for information technology services and materials awarded for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012, by four state agencies as determined by the Auditor General in the areas of warranties, indemnification, liability and insurance. The Auditor General shall also analyze IT platform standardization and the impact to the procurement process in comparison to other states, and best practices for the management and ownership of intellectual property.
