A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the dispensing of legend drugs by practitioners.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.
§64-9-1. Board of Medicine.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 24, 2016, authorized under the authority of section seven, article three, chapter thirty of this code, modified by the Board of Medicine to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 26, 2016, relating to the Board of Medicine (Dispensing of Legend Drugs by Practitioners, 11 CSR 5), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the Dispensing of Legend Drugs by Practitioners.
